"A Million gold starts with 1 copper"
That quote is like how this blog is going to be. A blog with thousands of post and millions of views is always start with one thing, a single post. I don't have much experience running a blog nor posting ideas and giving away tips to other people due to my introvert personality. But a wise man once said "A good knowledge is a knowledge that you teach to others", i couldn't agree more with that wise man. What is the point of holding an information for yourself and keep it from others? Even when i was only a poor player with no more than 1000 gold i learned the information to be what i am from other people. Now comes the time for me to be that people who gives information to people who are right now just like me when i was poor and hopefully someday one of those people can finally feel what its like to NOT have gold as a problem while playing wow.
I started playing the auction house around December 2009 and i finally hit the gold cap in may 2010. It was a lot of fun playing the auction house, the feeling of playing the auction house is like raiding or PvP in arena matches or battleground. The only difference is you play it with different aspect. Raiding is like being a manager, you study the condition, make a plan then execute the plan with carefulness and precision. The feeling you must possess in order to be successful in raiding is being Patient, calm and analytical with a little bit of awareness. PvP on the other hand, is like being a salesman. You HAVE to be fierce, focused and aware of your surrounding, a strong willpower and tenacity to never give up can make you unbeatable in any fights.
Now comes the final part. Auctioning, on other hand. Require all skills that is needed both at Raiding and PvP. You need to be analytical to analyze the market, you need to be fierce when undercutting or facing a tough competitors, you need to be focused on several items instead trying to make profits selling a lot of items that maybe unsold and you need a strong willpower, patience, tenacity to keep going when some stuff are unsold or coping up with a loss. Being an Auctioneer requires a lot higher skillcap in PvP terms even higher than a Frost Mage or a Druid skillcap. That is why there aren't many people who are successful playing the auction house compared to the whole population of WoW. It's like the "Great Divide" in United Nations terms between the poor and the rich in World of Warcraft. BUT, don't feel down when you read what i said. You can be rich if you learn how to be rich. Most people just doesn't have the common sense in learning. It's like teaching a new raider when he/she just hit 85 and trying to do Grim Batol.
If you feel that auctioning might be fun and want to try it out. I suggest that you should. Why? Playing the Auction House improve your softskills that i've mentioned before like patience and tenacity which will in turn improve your softskills in PvP or Raiding. Hell! even you might change in real life. I think i've said too much just for a first post but well "The more The merrier" Thus, i thank you for those who read this and hopefully you will accompany me with my journey to hit the NEW gold cap of 999.999 GOLD or 1 Million gold. I will post any strategy, tips and opportunity that i find in this blog so be sure to check back later ;D
